HCN - NaCN Technology Sale 

Alpha Concepts Pty Ltd can supply technology for the manufacturing of Hydrogen Cyanide and Sodium Cyanide. 

As often is the case of the manufacturing and use of Hydrogen Cyanide and Sodium Cyanide, wastewater streams are produced containing various concentrations of Cyanide in a number of forms with other contaminants. Alphaconcepts can supply technology for the recovery of cyanide from wastewater and process technology for the neutralisation and treatment of contaminated wastewaters.

Hydrogen Cyanide Generation

The technology available for sale is based on the generation of Hydrogen Cyanide from a high temperature fluidised bed reactor. The advantages of the fluidised bed process is that alternate hydrocarbon feed stocks can be utilised from methane to hexane have been traditionally utilised.

The main process reaction is as follows:

CH4 + NH3 à HCN + 3H2  

Yields for this process are high in comparison to alternate technologies. 

Not only can the manufacturing technology be supplied, a wealth of operational and optimisation technology is available to support the implementation of process technology.

NaCN Production

Hydrogen cyanide is generally not stored or transported in any significant quantity and is often an intermediary for further chemical manufacture. The general transported and used form of cyanide is Sodium cyanide.

Alpha concepts can supply technology to produced sodium cyanide from hydrogen cyanide and manufacture solid form briquettes while minimising side reaction impurity formation. Again as with HCN generation, Alpha Concepts can support any NaCN manufacturing technology sale with vast processing experience to ensure effective and efficient implementation of technology. 

The generation of NaCN as per the following reaction and the processing to solid form generates a considerable amount of water. As per the following section, Alpha Concepts can supply technology to enable neutralisation, recovery and / or reuse of cyanide contaminated wastewater streams.

Cyanide Wastewater Treatment
